# 1 What if I have questions before my phone consultation?

# 2 When are office hours?
MON - TUE - WED 9 am to 2 pm Eastern Standard Time USA. If you don't see an open time on my calendar, that time is booked. You'll need to select a future date and time. If this is an urgent health situation you may email me directly at lana@lanakontos.com however I cannot promise when you will be put on the schedule. I honestly do my very best to accomodate.
# 3 What Client Intake Forms do I email you?
The Client Intake Form, 4 day food journals, Life Bullet Form and the Disclaimer to lana@lanakontos.com no later than 24 hours prior to your consultation or it will be cancelled. Important Note: If your phone consultation is on a Monday email the forms by 9 am Eastern Time the previous Thursday because the office is closed all Thursday afternoons and Fridays.
# 4 What if I have trouble receiving the Client Intake Forms in that first email after I register?

# 5 What if I have trouble scanning and or emailing the Client Intake Forms to lana@lanakontos.com?
If you have issues scanning the Client Intake Forms you can try these simple steps...
Click the download button, open the forms, highlighting all the pages, right click, click copy. Next open a new email in your inbox, place cursor inside that body of the email like you are going to type an email, right click, hit paste. The forms that you copied will populate in the body of that email. Complete all areas of all forms, if it does not apply to you, write N/A. When you are done typing and all forms are completed, enter lana@lanakontos.com in the "to" area of your email and hit send. Send forms no later than 24 hours before phone consultation unless your consultation is on a Monday then forms need sent the previous Thursday by 9 am.
# 6 Do you manage my medications?
No, your primary care physician, OB-GYN, Endocrinologist, Cardiologist or specialists, manages your medications or treatments. I will, however, help educate you about them.
# 7 Would you read my blood work that I received from my PCP, MD or DO?
Absolutely. If you would like me to do so, attach the labwork to th email and send the reports to lana@lanakontos.com no later than 24 hours prior to your phone consulation or by 9 am EST Thursday if your consultation is on a Monday because the office is closed all Thursday afternoons and Fridays.
# 8 How do I get on my phone consultation?
There will be a private patient number sent in the email you'll receive after registering in the payment section below. You will call the number at the exact time of your consultation.
# 9 What time zone are the phone consultations?
Eastern Standard Time, USA. If you're in another time zone, check world time zones https://timeanddate.com
# 10 When do I call that number?
Kindly call that number at the exact time of your phone consultation. Again please do not call in early. Consultations start on time and end on time.
#11 Do you conduct phone consults in any other language?
No, the consultations are in English only, because this prevents any misunderstanding in translation. All my clients in other countries speak fluent English. There is no translations.
# 12 Do you take insurance?
No and that is not by choice. This is considered a wellness consultation and it is not billable to insurance companies in the US. However there is good news...many clients have a health savings account (HSA) and there is a Visa or Master Card tied to that account. Those cards those are accepted because this is a wellness consultation. You'd have to check with your employer to see if that is an option for you. If so, you may use that card.
# 13 May my spouse or significant other who is living in my household be on the call to take notes for me?
Yes, only if they are respectful and understand they are not the client, you are. I have never had an issue with spouses or significant others, ever. I welcome someone you trust to join you.
# 14 I understand from reading this that you do not prescribe medications so do you suggest natural approaches, tools and other options for me?
Yes, absolutely.
# 15 If I am on medications would you guide me what to ask my doctor when we are on this phone consultation?
Yes, absolutely.
# 16 My spouse or significant other wants a consultation are you taking new patients?
If you are reading this here, yes I am. Full disclosure, because of my other wellness work, it is highly likely that I will stop taking new patients sometime the end of first quarter 2025.
